I am the oldest of nine children, born and raised in Missouri. When I was growing up, my neighbors that we lived by at the time would take me to the church they attended instead of my parents taking me to church or a church member would drive to my home to pick me up to attend church.
As a teenager I accepted the Lord as my Savior and from there the Lord has given me numerous blessings throughout my life. Through the God given love of my pastor of a Southern Baptist Church in Laclede, Missouri, the love offering, gifts, a plane ticket purchased for me by the church members and my family willing to let me leave home, I attended Grand Canyon College, now known as Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. I attended classes for two years and there I met my husband Alan and we were married in September of 1974. We have been blessed with two sons, Timothy (wife Patrice) and Michael, as well as nine grandchildren.
I enjoy working alongside my husband at the church as we work at reaching people with the gospel of Jesus Christ and making an impact in the Clairemont community. I enjoy taking pictures, being outdoors but most of all I enjoy spoiling nine grandchildren with a fun filled exciting theme when they visit for eight weeks in the summer months.
